I usually either put the baby up for adoption (aka moving it to the orphanage), move it back with other family members (or friends, or even to the orphanage until they graduate) or if they're in their last year, because semesters are only 24 hours for me (and I play 2 semesters/1year per rotation), I usually can get away with just keeping the baby on the lot, and then when they graduate they automatically bring the baby with them. I know it's a mod conflict somewhere but I can't work out which seeing as not all sims have this problem) - so they've just been giving birth after they get pregnant.
On the one hand I want the baby's age to be consistent with the hood, but on the other hand lately I've noticed that not all of my pregnant YAs can go to class (instead the interaction just falls out of their queue. I use InTeen, although I wonder if the 'make me pregnant' option on the Tombstone of L&D appears for Young Adults? (or even with sim blender?) I feel like I've had young adults with babies before I had InTeen, though that might've just been from clicking 'new baby' on the Tombstone, which isn't exactly what you want because then it's just a clone baby.Īs for how I play it out, The one day rotations + 3 days pregnancy really screw me over as sims who get pregnant in their first semester of their first year won't have the baby until their third.
